  1. Push flag to about half way between silk and bottom pole cap

  2. Step out and face your left and put weight onto left foot (right leg should be at an angle w pointed foot)

  3. Row flag down on your left side, let go with your left hand

  4. Flag is up and move it to your right side (similar to side rows)

5 Swing flag to your right side and underneath your right arm

6 Flag should be straight up, as it goes over your shoulder. You’ll let go of your flag just as it’s about to go over your shoulder. The gif below is to show you the little toss/flick, as soon as your right hand lets go of the flag it’ll prepare to grab your flag coming over your shoulder on 7.

7 Flag is coming down from spinning over your shoulder, and you catch it by moving your right shoulder back slightly. At this point you should also be beginning to turn back towards the front. That’s the key to this move is it looks like it spins a lot over your shoulder, but really it just quickly turns over your shoulder and to catch it, you need to move you shoulder slightly back so your right hand can reach the flag as it’s coming down.
